To date, our subsidies have eliminated more than 12 million single-use plastic food ware items from the waste stream. We’ve done that by subsidizing the purchase of 57,532 reusable items at 82 restaurants and 44 schools in 13 states…

• 5,551 reusable cups/mugs/glasses
• 4,448 reusable sauce cups
• 1,769 reusable bowls
• 1,794 reusable plates
• 713 reusable containers
• 476 reusable bottles
• 338 reusable straws
• 126 reusable lids
• 9 reusable specialty/other items

Our amazing partners at Rethink Disposable and Center for Environmental Health have released dozens of case studies showing that schools and restaurants SAVE MONEY by switching to reusable food ware.
